There are two types of survivors in the world of suicide – those who have survived a suicide attempt (“suicide attempt survivor”) and those who have survived the loss of a loved one to suicide (“suicide loss survivor”). Some people use the term “suicide survivor” to describe both of these groups, but these are the terms this site uses, at least for now.
